Knitting Out Loud is founded by Kathy Goldner, an avid knitter. Ms. Goldner was taught to knit by her German grandmother, a World War II refugee and a psychoanalyst who knit while listening to her patients.
Recently returning to knitting, Kathy plunged into the delightful literature of knitting and realized that the agonizing conflict between reading about knitting and knitting could be solved by producing audiobooks of the best knitting titles available.
Ms. Goldner is the director and founder of the Literature and Art Program for elementary students in mid-coast Maine. She has been bringing alive the rich world of Greek mythology, Medieval literature, Shakespeare and Nineteenth century American literature to students for eight years. |
Award-winning audiobook director /producer Heather Frederick will be working with Knitting Out Loud to guarantee top quality recordings.
For the last fourteen years, Heather has been responsible for over seventy-five audiobooks. She is known in the industry as one of the best in the business.
